A lot of my family's history is just gone. Not misplaced, but lost across borders, across moves, across generations. What I have left, I hold onto tightly. That's what drives this work. Every wedding day we photograph is someone's history in the making — proof of a life fully lived, of people who loved each other. We don't take that lightly. Hey there! I'm Yara, I'm a travel elopement & micro-wedding photographer who has been photographing for over 12 years, born in Kazakhstan and raised in the Carolinas, USA. I've been in love with art since I was little — always had a camera in my hand, always dragging people into some story I was telling. I became obsessed with history digging because I've lost so much information about my own history, and photographs have been one of the only ways I can connect with it. I've traveled to visit my ancestral past, and I've traveled outside of that too — because creating your own family history is just as important as the one that came before you.
That's what I want for you. A wedding day that truly represents you, and photos that prove it happened exactly the way it did. Whether that's traveling to Europe and eloping just the two of you, or going to the mountains of North Carolina with your closest family and friends, I want to capture your day in a way that truly shows the realest you.
Hello, I'm Christian! I'm a photographer who loves going on adventures with fun people and creating cinematic images from their beautiful relationships. I have a deep belief that even the most simple, mundane feelings & passions are important, but only if we make them so. I grew up in South Carolina, always making things with my dad, learning programming, and being outside a lot. I found art in high school, and I immediately became obsessed with the capabilities of it. Suddenly a very technical science nerd became the art-lover, but to me it was all the same: creating stuff. I love meeting new people, and I'm really excited to photograph your day in a beautiful way.

Hey there! I'm Yara. I'm an adventure elopement photographer who has been photographing for over 9 years, born in Kazakhstan and raised in the Carolinas, USA. I love to travel (esp where theres beautiful mountains and lakes), watching shows (New Girl and Fleabag are my FAVES), and drinking hot tea w/ lemon and honey nonstop. Traveling and photography have always been my passions, so once I figured out I could merge the two I was THRILLED-- bringing people along on an adventure and capturing their beauty is all I want to do forever. SO let's be friends and go travel somewhere, yeah?
The most important thing to know about me is that I love seeing people successful, happy, and doing exactly what they desire in life. I love elopements because I get to meet people and help them do just that, but on what will be one of the most important days of their lives. I know how it feels to be forced down a path you do not relate to, but still have to force a smile because everyone expects you to. I want to be there to give people a way out of that mess, and into a fun, joyful, relatable path.
I started traveling with Yara when we were only 16, and it's one of the best things I could have learned how to do. I love exploring with my friends (aka you guys), trying scary but awesome things, and making myself better. I can't wait to meet you and talk about how we can make an incredible wedding day for you!
