Having an Asheville Elopement

Having an Asheville elopement is our favorite thing ever. Asheville is one of our favorite places on earth, for so many reasons. It has the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, the best cafes and restaurants, and the kindest people you’ll ever meet. We were so excited when Minori and Chandler contacted us and wanted to come from Ohio to get married in these beautiful mountains! From the moment they contacted us, I knew that we were going to have the most beautiful day. They told us that they do professional ballet, and I knew we were meant to be because I got into photography through taking photos of dancers when I was in High School.

We were so excited for their day to come, and now reliving it through making this blog post I’m just in awe! Getting Ready

Minori and Chandler chose the most perfect airbnb for their elopement day. It was super close to their ceremony location and surrounded by beautiful trees and CUTE goats (!!!) on the property. We took our time as we were getting to do their first look nearby in the forest. It was such a calm and peaceful environment, and their energy absolutely matched that.

First Look

After they both were ready to go, Christian put Chandler in his position and then helped lead Minori to where he was. Their sweet pup joined the party and was part of the first look the whole time, just chilling there 🙂 It was absolutely beautiful. I love love love first looks!

Ceremony

After a quick 20 minute drive to our ceremony location, we made our way up the mountain! Seeing as Minori and Chandler are athletes they had absolutely no problem throughout the hike HAHA!! But luckily the hike is quite short (about 20 minutes). We were so so lucky because there was nobody around and we just had the place to ourselves. The weather was perfect, and the scenery even more so. We picked out a ceremony spot together and began! They read their sweet vows to each other, and when it was time Christian handed them their rings to make it OFFICIAL.

First Dance

THEIR FIRST DANCE SONG WAS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. They danced to Le Festin- Camille (from Ratatouille!!!) and it was truly SO much fun and so so sweet. Literally best first dance song ever.

Picnic

After their first dance, they set up their picnic and we snapped some pictures before we took a step back and let them enjoy the vibes, just the two of them without distractions. They bought some delicious cakes and a little charcuterie board of tasty treats. With nobody around, it truly was the most perfect picnic on top of a mountain. After about 45 minutes, they invited us over to come hang with them and we had some sweet conversations and tasty snacks while we took our time basking in the sun 🙂

Couples Photos

After about an hour of picnic time, it was time for some couples photos! The sun was emitting this absolutely gorgeous golden light, and we just frolicked and danced around the fields as we took pictures and watched the beautiful sunset. It was truly so beautiful, and it was so hard to narrow down my favorites from this part of the day!
