And we want to help you be just that. And the best way to learn, I believe, is one-on-one conversations with someone who will be a completely open book. That's why we are offering mentor sessions. Below you will see two options for your mentor sessions, one with hands on experience and one with just us discussing everything about you and your business. And we want you to know that this is not just a one and done deal, we will always be there if you have any questions in the future. We are here to support you ALWAYS!
So, you're ready to be a photographer.
Although the prospect of starting your own business, handling clients, and knowing that there are SO many photographers can feel overwhelming-- I'm here to tell you that there IS room for you. I'm not here to gatekeep anything, because I know that there is a need for many different photographers-- because every person brings something different to the table. My clients will be different from yours-- and thats amazing! When we started our photography journey, we had little to no support from our peers and photographers around us. We want to be able to be that support for you. We are an open book, and we can guide you through any questions from camera settings and tech questions, to client management and communication, shooting and editing, finances, the list goes ON.

The Hands-on Session
The Chatting Session
In this 1.5 hour session, you can talk to BOTH of us about anything-- from client management, to open conversations about money, to website building, and the tech things such as storing, saving, and sharing your photographs. Feel free to ask us absolutely anything, we are an open book.
This is a 3 hour session that includes everything from the first section PLUS a 30-35 minute session with an individual or a couple (your choice!) to get some hands on experience of going through the motions of a photoshoot with us guiding you through it.

Hey there! I'm Yara. I'm an adventure elopement photographer who has been photographing for over 9 years, born in Kazakhstan and raised in the Carolinas, USA. I love to travel (esp where theres beautiful mountains and lakes), watching shows (New Girl and Fleabag are my FAVES), and drinking hot tea w/ lemon and honey nonstop. Traveling and photography have always been my passions, so once I figured out I could merge the two I was THRILLED-- bringing people along on an adventure and capturing their beauty is all I want to do forever. The most important thing to know about me is that I love seeing people successful, happy, and doing exactly what they desire in life. I love elopements because I get to meet people and help them do just that, but on what will be one of the most important days of their lives. I know how it feels to be forced down a path you do not relate to, but still have to force a smile because everyone expects you to. I want to be there to give people a way out of that mess, and into a fun, joyful, relatable path.
I started traveling with Yara when we were only 16, and it's one of the best things I could have learned how to do. I love exploring with my friends (aka you guys), trying scary but awesome things, and making myself better. I can't wait to meet you and talk about how we can make an incredible wedding day for you! Because you deserve an incredible one ❤️
