Some adventure vibes for your Asheville engagement photos.

Asheville engagement photos are an absolute dream. But I love engagement photos in general because it is the perfect time to be creative. It’s not just about the photos, its about creating a really fun experience with your love. Madison and Harrison really wanted to have two vibes for their photos that show off different parts of their personality – and they immediately knew that they wanted some mountains and a waterfall. Luckily — Asheville, North Carolina is home to both, and we took them to our favorite overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway which happens to be close to our favorite waterfall in Western North Carolina!

The Mountain Top

Our first stop was the overlook, where these two went for a casual but cute vibe, frolicking around the mountain together. The lighting, the weather, and the views were absolutely perfect.

The Waterfall

It was time for our waterfall portion of the session! We knew we wanted to lean in to the drama of the colors and lighting surrounding the waterfall, so Harrison and Madison truly chose the best clothing options!

Doing these waterfall photos felt as if we were shooting a movie – so much movement, so much emotion, and we had so much fun jumping around the waterfall. Doing Asheville engagement photos allow for so much variety and so so much beauty. Also don’t be fooled by these photos, we were all absolutely drenched after this part of the session, haha! But it was absolutely so so worth it. These photos will stay some of our favorites we’ve ever done!
